The CrisisinIsrael.com web site was started during the 2006 war with Lebanon. It was built as a way of connecting people who needed help and for those able to offer assistance. Thousands of Israelis opened their homes and hearts to the people affected in the North and South near the fighting. People from around the world also offered assistance and did their part in aiding a country at war. The war is over for now but the needs in the country are still great.
