Mission Statement
Come Answer the Call is a faith driven initiative facilitated by both Jewish and Christian leaders that seeks to nurture mutual understanding, respect and cooperation between the Jewish and Christian communities for the sake of safety and security of the nation of Israel and the Jewish people.
Goals
1. Educate and equip the community and CATC members about all aspects of Israel and the Jewish people.
2. To create a safe environment to foster relationships between Christian and Jewish communities.
3. To become an effective lobby for Israel and the Jewish community.
4. To organize and support pro-Israel events and organizations.
History
Come Answer The Call was co-founded by Pastor Troy Hinkle and Pastor Timothy Hinkle (a father and son team) as a bridge ministry between the Jewish and Christian community. Both Pastors had attended and volunteered at various AIPAC events in the Northern California Area and had collaborated with members and leadership of AIPAC in an effort to introduce more like-minded Christians to the Jewish community in order to form relationship and collaboration—and specifically to invite the Christian Community to the annual Membership Events and Policy
Conference hosted by AIPAC. In order to further this effort, Come Answer The Call began hosting events of its own in 1998 and in subsequent years. In doing so, CATC formed Steering and Executive Committees that all work on a volunteer basis. Throughout the history of the organization we have found it most effective to identify and network with other like-minded organizations around the world, sharing speakers and encouraging support of various organizations all in an effort to Support Israel and the Jewish community both in Israel and throughout the Diaspora. Besides organizing the efforts of Come Answer The Call, Pastor Hinkle serves on the Board of Directors for the Israel Christian Nexus and continues to volunteer for AIPAC as requested.
